Catalunya has an aera of 69.823 km2, consequently it is larger than Albania, Belgium, Denmark, Holland, Luxembourg or Switzerland.Nowadays, it has 11 millon inhabitants live on it, which represents a 2 ‰ of humanity.

Catalunya has marked national traits not only historical and cultural but also linguistic ones.Our nation goes from the half-section of the Pyrenees (the Catalan part of the Pyrenees) till the oriental/section of the depression of Ebre river and along the Mediterranian face of the Iberian Peninsula, till the south of the mouth of Segura river. Besides, the near group of big isles: Balearics and Ibiza and Formentera.
